At EMERALD EMPIRE boutique, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your purchases. We understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, a product may not meet your expectations. Because each piece is handcrafted with care and thoroughly inspected before delivery, we maintain a strict but fair return policy to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Please review our return policy.

Final Inspection & Customer Approval

Before we ship any order, your handbag undergoes a detailed final inspection. During this process:

  • Photos and videos of your exact item are sent to you.

  • You are asked to review and confirm all details.

  • Shipping only proceeds after your explicit approval.

This step ensures that what you receive matches exactly what you approved, giving you full confidence in your purchase.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, under the following conditions:

  1. Item Condition:

    • Must be unused, unworn, and untampered.

    • Must be returned in its original packaging (including dust bag, box, tags, plastic/protective wraps, etc.).

    • No signs of wear, creasing, handling, or odor will be accepted.

  2. Return Authorization:

    • All return requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.

    • Returns sent without prior approval will be rejected and not refunded.

  3. Return Shipping:

    • Clients are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed error on our part.

Returns Will NOT Be Accepted If:

  • The item shows signs of use or wear.

  • Protective packaging is missing or damaged.

  • The product has been altered or handled after delivery.

  • The reason for return is based on personal preferences (e.g. color tone, weight, stitching style, size perception, etc.)

Why These Cases Are Not Eligible for Return:

As an experienced provider of handcrafted luxury handbags, we follow a strict quality control process and offer photo/video confirmation to eliminate surprises. Here's why we cannot accept returns based on personal preference:

  1. Handcrafted Variation Is Normal: Each handbag is made by skilled artisans. Minor differences in stitching, grain, or leather texture are expected and celebrated in artisanal craftsmanship. They are not defects.

  2. Genuine Leather Is Naturally Unique: Just like natural skin, real leather may have subtle marks, pores, or tone variations. These are proof of authenticity not imperfections.

  3. Luxury Industry Standards: In the luxury goods sector, once a product is handled, tried, or altered from its original packaging, its resale value drops drastically. For this reason, most luxury brands do not accept returns for subjective reasons.

  4. Customer Confirmation Protects Both Sides: Our policy of sending photos and videos for final approval ensures that the customer knows exactly what they're receiving. Once confirmed, the product is considered custom-approved.

  5. Fairness and Sustainability: Accepting returns based on preference creates unnecessary shipping, waste, and handling that conflict with our commitment to fair business and sustainable practices.

Defective or Incorrect Items

In the rare case that you receive a defective or incorrect item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Include photos and/or video proof clearly showing the issue.

  3. Once we confirm the mistake, we will provide a prepaid return label.

Additional Notes:

  • Since all customers receive confirmation photos/videos before dispatch, subjective disputes about the final product (i.e. “I changed my mind,” or “It looks different in person”) are not valid grounds for return.

  • We reserve the right to inspect and evaluate returned items before issuing any refund.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after inspection approval.

Handmade Products: Due to the uniqueness of handmade or custom products, please understand that we do not accept mid-order returns or unreasonable returns. All handcrafted items are non-refundable and considered as final sale.

Non-handcrafted items must be returned within 14 days to qualify for a refund or compensation. The eligibility for return and the type of compensation offered will vary depending on the specific situation.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn, or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund. All items are inspected on return. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

  • The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please note that the original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns.
